1. Red Nails

I'm starting this challenge with red nails - I'm not wearing red that often - I kind of need the mood for it.

Here are just two pics of the latest red manicures - the second one is about 3 month old - when my nails were looong and strong and the first one is yesterday's mani.

First - here are my "basecoat" - the Essence Ultra Strong Nail hardeneer - I'm using it for almost 4 years now and I'll never change this - for it me works best - dries fast, prevents my nails from getting stained and makes them really strong.

My Topcoats - Essence's Better than Gel Nails Top Sealer - like it but it's not my holy grail - this used to be Catrice's up to 10 days Top coat. Now I got the Seche Vite Top Coat and am kind of excited how this one will work with my nails.

These are the basic I use for every manicure I'll show you the next days!

For the first manicure - I used Catrice's Lovely Sinner and added some red and blue rhinestones to a heart on my ringfinger.

The Second mani is made with Manhattan's Lotus Effect polish - and I can't read the number anymore - but this is the only red they offer if I'm right.

I used 1 coat of Ahoy - a white polish because my nails are predestined to get stained, 2 coats of Lovely Sinner

This are 2 thin coats of Manhattan's red polish
