Whatever - I own toner, but it never found a place in whatever rountine I have. So no fave here - just a product I sometimes use and sometimes not.

[Halloween] Zombified Fairy
First of all - I'm not very glad with the result - but better than nothing, especially since the Optimus Prime Look absolutely failed.
I used Liquid Latex, Dermawax, fake blood, e/s (black, different shades of red, violet and blue), foundation, lotsa powder, blush, liquid liner and fake lashes.
I applied liquid latex, where I wanted to have the cut between the fairy and the zombie part of the face - and let it dry.
After it completely dried I lifted the edges towars the zombie part and applied on the fairy part foundation (quite thick with a sponge, because I wanted to create flawless skin)
With black and red e/s i darkened under the edges to add more depth.
The rest I filled with different red shades, blue, violet and a little black, over all I put fake blood. On the fairy side I applied pink blush, pink e/s very slightly to the crease and filled in the brows with a hot pink eyeshadow. Then add the fake lashes (which are for me a huge fail - I hate how they look on the lid) and add with silver or blue liquid liner some decorations (I'm not that creative if it's up to fairystuff), apply eyeliner and you're done.
As I found some toothcolor I also applied it - and that's the finished look.

[Tag]21. Where do I buy the Make Up?
I prefer to buy it in drugstores, perfumerys and everywhere else I find something interesting.
I'm not the one who likes it to order stuff from the internet - of course sometimes there's no other possibility, but I'm not happy with this way of shopping.

[Review] Catrice - Big City Life
Hello Betches!
I was quite interested in this LE, escpecially in the "Sydney" and "Berlin" palette. As "Berlin" was sold out I decided to take "London" with me. Here are pics, swatches and my first thoughts.
Each box holds six eyeshadows, two blushes, a khol pencil and an applicator/brush-mix that's crap to me. I like the design of the boxes, but I'm an absolut package-junkie - so it sometimes happens that I buy something just because I fall in love with the wrapping.
The London Collection
I'm sad that "Berlin" was sold because "London" kind of disappointed me.
Six blue and grey-ish eyeshadows and pink/rose based blushes.
On the left side from bottom to top:
Hyde Park - looks like a darker blue based grey, comes out as a quite sheer and chalky blue with a touch of grey - looks dirty to me
Big Ben - shimmery lilac shadow with some lightblue in it - applies well and is really buildable
Picadilly Circus - Vanilla shimmer eyeshadow - nice and solid, little chalky but I like it
London Eye - pink/rose blush - nothing special
On the right side from bottom to top:
City Hall - ultramarine blue - also with shimmer, I have a problem with the color payoff - it looks quite beautiful in the pan but I needed hell of a lot to get an acceptable effect
Globe Theatre - the color I like the most - a duochrome golden/ lilac color - nice color payoff - can't wait to do a look with it
Tower Bridge - another disappointment - same problem as I had with Hyde Park - looks like a solid grey with glitter - again it comes out really blue
Greenwich - bright pink that's like chalk. Don't like it.
The Sydney Collection
The one I was interested the most in - and it really didn't let me down.
The main colors are here brown and purple - the blushes are darker and the color payoff is better, but nevertheless controlable.
On the left side from bottom to top:
Sydney Aquarium - shimmery dark purple - good color payoff
The Rocks - another purple also shimmery, solid e/s
Royal Botanic Garden - lilac shimmery e/s nothing more to say - as I love purple eyeshadows this is quite a win for me - I can't own enough different but in the end related shades of lilac and purple.
Opera House - I like the blush a lot it's a burgundy blusg with golden glitters in it - and although I'm no big fan of glittery blushes - I like that one a lot - perfect fall color
On the right side from bottom to top:
Town Hall - copper brownish shade - I'm absolutley in live with!
Harbour Bridge - the only matte one warm brown color, no highlight
Bondi Beach - looks for me like a warm silvery color, I guess this could be nice for highlights in the inner eye corner
Taronga Zoo - matte dark pink blush - like it
The polishes that came with me are "London" and "New York" - haven't swatched them yet - because there are so many polishes I have to try before, but I'll post the pics here if I find the time to swatch.
Over all - I'm not absolutely disappointed but I was waiting for kind of more - all more or less solid eyeshadows - but no special shades, I guess these palettes won't be used that often - but I don't regret buying them, there's something about them I like aand can't name it.
xoxo Anna
[Tag] 20. Favourite eyeshadow primer
Urban Decay Primer Potion. Sorry for the crappy flask, but as I travelled a lot between two flats, just threw the bottle in my backpack - the color chipped off - luckily it's almost empty, so I can look better after the new one ;).

[Tag]19. Favourite concealer
I don't own it that long, but it found a place in my heart. The Pro Longwear Concealer by MAC in NC20. It's everything I ever searched for in a concealer. I gets rid of dark shadows under my eye after hard days of work, it doesn't crawl into the fine lines under my eyes, it blends well into my skin, it stays the whole day at the same place I put it in the morning and I can cover little blemishes as well.
The one I like to use, is the new Manhattan Concealer in "Warm Honey" it also blends well and has really good coverage - but I don't like the fact that it starts to crease after a while - although you get setting powder with it.

[Halloween] Sugarskull
Hellooo Betches!
I planned a tutorial for this look, but while I was creating it I
decided not to - because I didn't know where the really important steps
were. For me it was really easy, and I guess it will be for everybody
who just looks at the face chart and the two main steps too.
This was my sketch for this look, I mainly used the Original Sleek Palette, black gelliner and the eyeshadow base by Make Up Factory - that had the perfect bone-ish color.
I primed my face with white base, and started to contour the skull roughly - then drew the hollows of my eyes and nose - you see not that hard to replicate.
The little dots around the hollows of the eyes i made with a brush, that had the same size as I needed my decoration to be.
Draw some swirls, flowers, diamonds, keyholes, spiderwebs, leaves - whatever you want - to create your personal sugarskull look. I used black gelliner and a few colored eyeshadows.
Voilá! Finished and I love it! Hopefully some inspiration for some of you!
xoxo Anna

[Tag]18. What's your favourite night time look?
First of all sorry for one day off, but work owns me at the moment. I don't even have time to prewrite anything.
Favourite night time look - there is none specifically, it absolutely depends on my mood and where I will party.
For concerts I would never apply the same amount and colors as for a club.
So here is a picture of what I prefered the last time, but who knows how it will look like the next time ;)

Haul-athon
The last week, was kind of a bad one for my wallet - but an awesome one for getting my addiction satisfied.
It all started with the not succeeded search for some Limited Editions - once again, I'm really not blessed with getting something I want that's limited. So first I had to get rid of the disappointment and look for some stuff at the drugstore. I came out with a lot of smaller stuff on the first day - the second one I was a lucky girl, cause I was sent home earlier and was able to get some stuff at Müller - that sadly offered everything with -25%. I guess y'all understand that I HAD to look what I might like - and I found a lot, especially things I wouldn't buy for the original price, cause I don't like it to become a poor, but nice made up girl - including crossing a border.
Garnier Eye Make Up Remover for waterproof stuff
Alverde Eyebrow gel and Blush in "Cherry"
And as I mentioned it before - I'm not the luckiest in getting actual LE's - but the older ones - believe it or not I was searching for the blush-stick when it came out for quite a while, but didn't find one that wasn't already smudged - because of a ton of kiddies that use everything but the tester.
Essence Toner, just for trying - but i guess this won't last that long - I already start forgetting about it, and I don't like the feeling it leaves on my skin. bebe instesiv care moisturizer - I love it and use it for years.
So far so good - and now for the second day - with an Artdeco blush - a beautiful coral color - with an even more beautiful golden pearl. Love stuff like that.
Some polishes - the Misslyn polish "Las Vegas" was in my mind for month - but I wasn't willed to pay over four € for a polish so I just looked at it - but that time I had to take it - purple jelly base kind of sheer, but not to much with golden, pink and green glitter in it, another limegreen polish by Artdeco - you know I love lime green polishes - I'm kind of addicted, another pink by Essence and a sheer grey with golden shimmers in. Can't wait to wear all of these honeys.
Got a sample - loved it - had to have it - got it.
Garnier BB-Cream, wore it for two dayshifts now, liked it in the morning - was disappointed at lunchtime - hated it in the evening. If you tend to have oily skin - hands off! I looked like glazed, although I used tons of powder during the day - I just looked like a glowing cake. I like the smell, I like what it may do to not oily skin, but for me - maybe just as moisturizer - cause that's what it seems to be to me - a tinted moisturizer, nothing less nothing more.
Beside the coral blush I found another pink blush, with the same wonderful golden pearl, and had to have it - again. I realize I had to have a lot the last week.
So that's it with haul-posts for a few weeks, because I need to save some money for getting tattooed in 3 weeks, and I would say my addiction is really, really satisfied for a longer while.
xoxo Anna

[Tag]16. Do you copy celebrity make up looks?
Nah, not really, sometimes I redo some looks I see and like in beuaty-magazines, but I don't like to recreate celeb-
looks.

[Upcoming] Haul-athon

[Tag]15. Do you wear blush?
I don't just wear it - I adore it!
I'm freakin' in love with blush - a love that showed up late - but better too late than never!
Blush for me is,the one thing that makes everyhing complete - the first step into a beautiful direction!
Over the last years I collected a lot of different brands, qualities and colors - I found everywhere crappy, chalky ones, hardly color-payoff ones, absolutely overrated - but all of these fails were worth it, cause I found so many I love in any way!
My absolut favourite everyday-healthy one would be Catrice's Coral Sand - dunno what to wear? Wear Coral Sand.
My fave party-overblush ones are MAC's Fleur power and KIKO's 103.
Lately there moved in two new Artdeco blushes I fell in love with on the first swatch - haulpost and review follow the next weeks.

[Tag]14. Favourite Youtube guru and blogger
I started watching youtube videos about three years ago, reading blogs began way later.
The one I started with was Queen of Blending - I absolutly adored the bright, bold and colorful looks she created - she inspired me so much that time. Nowadays I'm not wearing that much eye make up any more, but still love her tutorials.
Over the years there followed so many more and I still love drowning in beautychannels for hours!
My favourite blog probably would be Magimania , I like it really much - with her I started reading blogs regularly!
Other blogs I like a lot and try to read daily are coral and mauve , Honey and Milk and Anonymous Beautyholic. There are many more, some of them down in the blogroll.

[Tag]13. Where do you keep your makeup?
I really have noooo system at the moment - as you saw on my MU-collection pics - I keep everything in MU-bags or wooden boxes, but nothing linear or clean. I'm planing to change this in the next weeks and of course give you an update!

[Tag]12. Favourite mascara
I don't have something like a favourite - I'm searching always for something better.
There are only two mascaras I keep backing up - because I like what they do with my lashes. I have naturally curled lashes, so I just need volume and lenght - but I hate it when everything gets thick and layered. The two I found until today I can live with are the Multi Action Mascara by Essence - I guess everybody knows it, there are enough reviews and everybody has it's own opinion, and the Hypnotic Volume Mascara by Look by Bipa. Second one is for me kind of a cheaper version of the CoverGirl Lashblast - I owned and loved, but I don't want to order anymore and I'm not willed to pay that much for a mascara that actually doesn't cost that much in the US, but for me. The difference is the brush - but for me it's ok, because I don't like rubber brushes.
Hypnotic Volume Mascara - applied once
Multi Action Mascara - applied once

[Tag]10. Favourite makeup brush(es)
These are my absolut favourites - I can do a whole look with them, there are a lot of other brushes I really like, but I couldn't live without them!
LbB - Kabuki Brush - fluffy synthetic hair awesome for (loose) powder, I love the softness
LbB - they call it a powder brush, but I use it as a blush brush, and I adore it - you can blend in the product so well, never happened that it left harsh lines, it has really soft synthetic hair, but enough dense
IQ - small eyeshadow brush, you can't buy it anymore cause they changed the products - it was the only brush they had that looked intersting to me - short and dense hair - wonderful vor working precised on the lid
Essence - gel liner brush - I just use it for my brows and adore it - my brows wouldn't want to live without it anymore
Zoeva - shader, dense hair, use it for almost everything on my eye - for me it's even possible to blend properly with it
Zoeva - pencil brush - I guess I don't need that much to say

[Halloween] Sliced Face
Helloooo Betches!
My first bloody halloween tutorial! I didn't really know in which direction this would go - but I'm quite satisfied with what I came out with!
So enjoy as I did!
I started with covering my brows - there are many tutorials on YT how
to, so I will skip this step - I used spirit gum and dermawax by Grimas.
Next step - I covered the prepared brows with the Manhattan 2in1 concealer and set it with powder (they reacted with each other and it turned out way too dark, but it's not important for the finished look).
I also applied spirit gum where I want to be my wound later and formed with dermawax a bead.
With a spatula I formed the wax into lacerated "flesh".
Apply foundation - I used a mixture of Infinite Matt and Studio Fix NW15 - with a sponge - also slighty dip over the wax, but don't cover it full, the shape that shows up will help you with contouring later.
With a range of brown e/s I started to contour my cheeks, eyes, nose and temple. Use a light breige color to shade the edges where the wax is blended into you skin to add a little depth, with a darker brown shade the cut inside.
Hope you enjoyed and somebody gets inspired!
xoxo Anna
